Brandon Pryce

Brandon is a PhD candidate and researcher finishing his studies at Queen’s University. A settler of Jamaican and Irish descent, he grew up in Toronto and lived in Kingston, Ontario, for eleven years, where he completed his Bachelor of Arts (Political Science and History) and Master of Arts (Global Development Studies) at Queen’s University. For the past six years, Brandon has worked in Yellowknife and the North in a number of research roles with different Indigenous and Northern governments. He has primarily focused on economic development in and around the North, from tourism to resource extraction.

Brandon is excited to be living in the North and contributing to Hotıì ts’eeda’s rich culture of community-driven research.
